The Liverpool Justice and Peace Commission is a member of the National Justice and Peace Network (NJPN).
The NJPN this year (2018) celebrates its 40th anniversary.
Tha NJPN hold 4 open meetings per year, 2 at CAFOD’s head office in London, and 2 elsewhere in the country. Each July, the NJPN holds a weekend long conference in Derbyshire, on various themes.
The conference in 2018 is called‘ It is in the shelter of each other that the people live’: A conference to explore the meaning of ‘home’ in the context of being a church of the poor, and has been organised in in partnership with Housing Justice, Church Action on Poverty, Prison Advice and Care Trust.
